"The internet is
sometimes a scary place to purchase items, especially one as
important as a medical alert system. I researched many
companies, talked with many representatives, asked many
questions, and after all that, I chose Life Guardian. I wish
to make it clear that I am not receiving any compensation
for my endorsement.
The representative I spoke with was knowledgeable,
professional, courteous, and genuinely interested in my
particular circumstance. I was purchasing this for my mother
who was just about to turn 90. While my mother is in great
shape for a 90 year old woman, she has her limitations as
any 90 year old person would. She does, however, live in her
own home by herself. This medical alert system gives both my
mother and her family peace of mind knowing that help is
just a push-button away. I requested that the system be sent
out ASAP, as we wanted to have it ready for my mother
as we celebrated her 90th. Birthday at a family dinner. Not
only did I receive the system on time, it was 2 days early!
Everything in the box came exactly as I was told it would.
LifeGuardian actually gave me an extra alert button at no
additional cost. Since her house is a two story, this was
perfect because she could have one on her at all times and
also have one upstairs should she forget the one downstairs.
After her birthday dinner, the family got together and
completed the forms necessary to activate the system. The
forms were concise, and the directions easy to follow. We
also put the Life Guardian sticker on the door which is
another great safety feature.
After sending in the forms, I myself tested the system. I
was told the system would work in a range of approximately
60 yards from the receiver. I tested the system from the
most remote places in my mother's home, and it worked
beautifully. After that, I decided to try a little
experiment of my own. I took one of the alert buttons and
went as far as a full block away from the receiver in my
mom's home. The system worked great even that far away as
that! I then called Life Guardian, and the system was
activated the following morning.
Thank God, she has had not had to use the system, However, I
have every confidence that, if the time should arrive when
she needed to use it, Life Guardian would be there for her
in just seconds. I would certainly recommend this product to
anyone considering a medical alert system. The whole family
sleeps a little better at night knowing she is protected by
Life Guardian!"

Two years ago, I ordered a LifeGuardian Personal Emergency
unit from your company for my mother. The
installation/set-up procedure went flawlessly, as did the
link-up with the Security Center. Subsequent checks of the
system always went well. I felt very confident that my
mother had another layer of security around her.
Because of my satisfaction with the unit and the system, I
decided to order the same thing for my aunt. Unfortunately,
I inadvertently ordered from the company that manufacturers
the unit , rather than LifeGuardian itself. In doing so, I
did not receive the same unit that my mother had (It was
missing a battery, a sound board, and a wrist pendant).
Ultimately, I contacted (name of LifeGuardian
representative) whose name was on the return address of the
box my mother's unit came in. Through many phone calls with
(name of LifeGuardian representative), we were able to
determine what was missing and what was needed. He arranged
to have these items shipped and he subsequently "walked" me
through the installation via phone.
I appreciate the time (name of LifeGuardian representative)
spent with me. It was the type of service that is now
approaching obsolescence. It is because of my experience with
(name of LifeGuardian representative) that I feel very
comfortable with knowing that now both my mother and aunt
have this additional layer of security about them.
