Routine Personal Assistance and Emergency Medical Monitoring
At the heart of LifeGuardian Medical's medical monitoring program is our comprehensive Subscriber Information Database. When you become a LifeGuardian subscriber you will be asked to complete our Subscriber Information Form. This provides us with all of the personal, contact and medical information we need to effective set-up and management your account. All information you provide is completely private (only released to emergency medical professionals if dispatched) and is completely voluntary. You are encouraged to update your information at any time (in writing) and without any additional cost whatsoever.

When an emergency call comes into our center from a subscriber, all of the information you have on file is immediately displayed for the dispatcher handling your call. This includes physical address, property access instructions, medical conditions, allergies to medication, preferred hospital, a contact list of friends, family or neighbors, etc.

In the event of a non-emergency call, we will gladly call anyone on the call list for the subscriber. In the event of a medical emergency, we can dispatch your local paramedics and provide them with all the critical medical information you have on file if requested. Once emergency services are dispatched, you LifeGuardian dispatcher will go down the call list to attempt to notify someone that the system was activated and help has been dispatched. You may also receive immediate notification by text or email message if you choose our new LifeGuardian Pro™ Medical Alarm System.

Just like 911 operators, they are trained to respond to a wide variety of calls. From routine personal assistance calls to critical medical emergencies, their training and technology allows them to quickly and easily provide the assistance required by each caller.

New operators are sent through a rigorous training program including personal and classroom training, working with trained dispatchers, eventually accepting calls under supervision, then - when they are fully prepared - they graduate to handle emergency calls. Unlike other alarm or security companies, our in-house professional medical alarm technicians carefully inspect & program your medical alarm equipment before it ships out to you. Each of our top quality medical alarms system is first assembled, inspected and rigorously tested at our manufacturing facility using advanced Electronic Stress Screening Methods.

Next, when it arrives at the LifeGuardian Medical Center, our dedicated medical alarm technicians individually test each system component including call buttons, 2 way voice and batteries. Like any high-tech business, the technology employed will drive your level of customer service. The LifeGuardian Medical Monitoring Center is continuously updating and upgrading it's call center technology. This insures all calls are routed to accommodate each and every caller as fast as possible.

As evidence of our commitment to the highest standards, LifeGuardian Medical's Emergency Medical Monitoring Center is a UL (United Laboratories) inspected, listed and approved central station. This means the center must pass an extensive list if requirements including building security, UL listed telecommunications and computer equipment, back-up power systems, software standards, etc. Our UL Listing certification and credential rating must be renewed annually by an on-site inspection.
